Generations of …

artistry and design

Creativity runs in my family. My late grandfather, Gerry, was an artist and architectural designer — he was doing graphic design in the 1950s, rebuilt a historic steamboat in the Wisconsin Dells in the 1960s, became a Walt Disney World Imagineer in the 1970s, and later designed churches and restaurants around Central Florida. His sister, Jeanine, was a seamstress for Disney, and my grandmother Marilyn and her sisters taught me everything from dress-making to knitting and crocheting. My father is an engineer and can build, repair and create almost anything, and my mother was an entrepreneur who loved to dream big! Being surrounded by talent, creativity, ingenuity, and a can-do-anything attitude shaped me into who I am and what I love to do.

Early in my career I worked in the design industry with high-profile, high-net-worth clients. Being exposed to design at that scale taught me what separates good from great. Traveling abroad further expanded my design eye to appreciate the kind of beauty and character that can only be found in an aged patina.

Designing spaces and gardens is my passion. My goal is to help homeowners turn their indoor and outdoor spaces into personal sanctuaries they'll enjoy for generations to come.
