The options below provide examples of the range of services available.
We can provide as much, or as little, design support as you like.
Option 1: Interior Design Consulting
For DIY homeowners who want to tackle projects on their own or hire their own contactors, but want a design concept, design inspiration, direction or creative input, we offer design concepts with or without interior styling. This is the lightest budget option.
Option 2: No Demo Designs
For homeowners who do not want structural changes or extensive renovations (i.e. not knocking down or adding walls), we offer services that avoid those costly changes and focus on updating materials, finishes and surfaces (think: flooring, fixtures, counters, and paint) with decor and styling as the cherry on top. This is what some refer to as a “gut job”; leaving the structure and framing in place and making primarily cosmetic changes. This is the moderate budget option.
Option 3: The Full Monty
For homeowners looking for extensive renovations and remodeling, including adding or removing walls, or room additions, we are happy to bring in a licensed general contractor and discuss the project phases, budget and timeline. This is the highest budget option.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we use my existing furniture & decor?
The short answer: It depends. If it works in the space and fits the style and aesthetic you want, of course. If it doesn’t accomplish your goal and needs to be retired, we may need to consider other options, spaces or uses for them.
If it is sentimental, we will find a way to make it work.
Can we choose our colors and finishes?
Absolutely… as long as you like them and they look good together. That’s why a design rendering is such an important tool when designing your space. It allows you to visualize what your colors and finishes will look like once they are in place, before making a costly or disappointing selection.
